Random Thoughts 1-3

random thought #1: As a business owner and individual I suppose, you have to complete all the online profiles like Linkedin, Plaxo, Facebook, and I can't even think of all the others right now. I have finally finished these three, and I don't think it will ever end! Then of course you have to constantly update... kind of like a website and blog. Thinking about it, my online presence is company website, blog, facebook, linkedin, and plaxo -- oh and myspace which I think I will take down. My goodness! How this defines our state of technology and our state of being.

random thought #2: I went home this past weekend to celebrate my mom's birthday and have a little vacation (home is always a vacation). While there I happen to read an entire Reader's Digest. I love that magazine. The stories in it are very engaging. One in particular which I want to share with you-- although, I'll have to wait to get the magazine to scan the pages. It is titled, "Home of the Brave" and is a portrait of 7 peoples lives who came to this country. The one thing I'll say about it now is that we take our freedom for granted. Absolutely. Unless you have come from a circumstance from another country which most of us probably have not, we need to re-check ourselves and think about what freedom means and what it would NOT mean. Words from my father, America is the land of opportunity. We have every means to succeed.

random thought #3: I wish I could get in the shower and it would dress me.
